Be Careful this Halloween

Halloween is an exciting time of year for many children and adults, but it can also be a unsafe time as well. Trick-or-treating usually takes place at dusk or at night, which can make it very hard to see children. To keep pedestrians safe, it is best to drive at least five miles per hour under the speed limit, use your hazard lights when stopping to let children out, and to be very alert.

We want to remind you that we have a great selection of vehicles that are loaded with safety features here at Alderman's Toyota so stop by and check them out.

If you are out and about on Halloween, be sure to keep a watchful eye out for kids and be prepared for them to not follow the rules of the road. Don't ever pass a stopped car or slow-moving vehicle either, because they could be waiting for a child to cross the street. Better to err on the side of caution, be safe, and help keep the trick-or-treaters that are out safe.
